Black Cat and the Taoist master are ready to conclude their deadly engagement that started in Black Cat, Vol, 16. Having discharged the last shot of his railgun, Train demonstrates that Shiki's reliance on and understanding of Taoism was incorrect, and he defeats him with his own black claw. With the path open to Creed's manor, River and Train proceed to the house where they reconnect with Kevin and Eve. Infiltrating the manor means defeating the Apostles' guards, which Eve does efficiently.
Inside the manor, they are confronted by the Doctor's new nano-tech creation that turns two sweepers into adrenaline-fueled monsters. Eve manages to counteract these with her own nanotech, restoring the sweepers back to their own mind. With River and Kevin out of commission, Eve and Train follow Creed's trail to the 4th floor, where they are separated by the Doctor's Warp World power.
Meanwhile, Sven is spotted on the screen infiltrating the manor himself, while security camera go out of service as members of Chronos, including I herself, join the fight to settle their score against the Apostles of the Stars...
