Following the escape of Princess Anastasia in Prisoner of Ice and Snow, the Queendom of Demidova is in uproar. Prince Anatol is suspected of having freed his sister from the dungeon, and for the good of the crown Queen Ana banishes him. Accompanied by his trusted guard Nicolai, the two of them leave town.
