Having infiltrated DWMA in Soul Eater, Vol. 4, Medusa has set up a plan to corral and keep prisoner all of the students and staff of the school, including Death itself, so she can free the first Kishin, who is currently buried under the school. According to her plan, this will create chaos and finally break the war between the witches and the meisters. Accompanied by Wolf, the Demon Sword and the frog witch Eruka, Medusa triggers her attack to coincide with DWMA's anniversary celebration.

While Wolf captures almost everyone into the independent cube, Maka, Black Star, Death Jr. and Dr. Frankenstein manage to escape thanks to Sid Kun's coffin abilities, and chase Medusa and her group through the school's catacombs, most likely heading towards a violent death. Have the meisters finally find their match?
