The Aurora Society’s planned demonstration of reviving a body goes horribly awry when the patient begins to attack gathered guests aboard the luxury liner Campania. Phantomhive and Sebastian are forced to fight this horrific creature, but none of their abilities are enough to bring it down. Fortunately, a Death Scythe arrives on the scene, ready to collect the creature’s soul. Only, once he kills it, he realizes there is no soul to collect. Bringing a body back without a soul should not be possible, so Ciel and Sebastian chase the inventor all the way to the cargo hold, only to realize there are hundreds of these creatures on board the Campania.

As the undead spread throughout the ship, chaos and mayhem follows. As if this is not enough of a threat, the ship steams straight for an iceberg, and a second Death Scythe. With Ciel’s betrothed, Elizabeth, on board, it is up to Phantomhive and his Butler to fight off the triple threat of soul collectors, an army of undead, and a sinking ship...
